Kamrup Completes Second Randomization of EVMs Ahead of Assam Polls

The Kamrup District Administration has completed the second randomization of EVMs and VVPATs for all six Assembly constituencies ahead of the April 9 elections.
The process was conducted at the District Commissioner’s office using EMS 2.0, ensuring automated and transparent allocation of machines without manual intervention.
Officials, candidates, and representatives of political parties monitored the exercise, which followed all guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
The process was supervised by IAS observers Devendra Kumar Pandey and Dr. S. Bharati Dasan, in the presence of District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra.
Authorities said the randomization strengthens transparency and ensures a fair electoral process as the state moves closer to polling day.
