CISF Jawan Harassed by Students at Guwahati Railway Station

A CISF jawan was allegedly harassed and nearly assaulted by a group of students from Cotton University at Paltan Bazar Railway Station in Guwahati.

The incident occurred when the students reportedly demanded the jawan’s Aadhaar and PAN cards, leading to a heated argument that escalated into an attempted assault.

Police intervened promptly and rescued the security personnel. The incident is reportedly linked to a student leader associated with All Assam Students’ Union. Further action is yet to be confirmed.
