Kamrup Metro Launches HPV Vaccination Drive for Adolescent Girls

The Kamrup (Metropolitan) district administration has launched a vaccination campaign for girls aged 14–15 across multiple health centres.

Under the Vidyarambha programme, awareness sessions were held in schools on April 1 to educate parents about the importance and benefits of the Human Papillomavirus vaccine.

The initiative aims to boost preventive healthcare and protect adolescent girls from HPV-related diseases.
