Guwahati Police Crack Chain Snatching Case in 24 Hours, Six Arrested

Guwahati Police solved a chain snatching case within 24 hours, arresting six accused in a swift operation led by Basistha Police Station.

The incident took place in Saukuchi, where two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched a woman’s gold chain and fled. Acting on the complaint, police quickly tracked down all those involved.

The arrested individuals are Kangres Kumar, Bikash Ray, Nathuni Ray, Rinku Mazumdar, Nayan Sarkar, and Bablu Sarkar alias Bulu.

Police recovered vehicles used in the crime, mobile phones, and modified gold ornaments to prevent identification. All items have been seized, and further investigation is ongoing.
