Violence Over Cattle Theft in Dibrugarh Leaves One Critically Injured

A violent clash in Chaulkhowa, Dibrugarh, reportedly linked to an alleged cattle theft network, left one youth, Abid Ahmed, critically injured with a gunshot wound. He is currently in ICU at AMCH.

The incident involved firing, petrol bomb attacks, and vandalism after tensions between two groups escalated. Both sides have accused each other of prior attacks and threats.

Police have launched an investigation, with no arrests so far, while the situation remains tense in the area.
