Gauhati University Warns Against Fake Admission Information for 2026–27

Gauhati University has clarified that no official admission notification for the 2026–27 session has been released, calling information shared by the portal “Education Dunia” unauthorised and misleading.

The university urged students and guardians to rely only on official sources, including its website and the Department of Higher Education, Assam.

Authorities assured that all admission updates will be released through verified channels to ensure transparency.
