Sarma Slams TMC Over Meat Claims, Targets WB Poll Issues

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma accused the All India Trinamool Congress of spreading false claims that BJP would ban meat and fish in West Bengal. He stated that non-vegetarian food is freely consumed in Assam, with restrictions only on beef.

Sarma also alleged corruption in cattle smuggling and raised concerns over illegal immigration, urging voters to support BJP in the upcoming assembly elections scheduled on April 23 and 29.
