AI System Transforms Farming Across Northeast India

An AI-powered agriculture system developed by Assam University, Silchar is helping farmers across six northeastern states with flood prediction and crop guidance. Funded by the Department of Science and Technology and monitored by Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai, the project delivers real-time alerts using satellite data and machine learning.

A mobile app, Krishi Vikash, provides farmers with crop advice, market access, and government scheme details, aiming to improve decision-making and reduce risks in agriculture.
