Four Arrested in Land Registration Scam in Guwahati

Guwahati Police arrested four persons for allegedly cheating a 70-year-old man in a fake land registration scam. The accused reportedly collected Rs 17,260 from the victim by posing as an employee of the Sonapur Circle Office.

Police traced the accused to Tezpur and arrested Riyajul Islam, Saiful Islam, Mojamil Haque, and Istaqul Hussain. Further investigation is currently underway.
