Former Assam Industry Department Official Muchleuddin Ahmed Passes Away in Guwahati

Guwahati, April 28: Muchleuddin Ahmed, a respected retired official of the Industries Department, Assam, passed away on Tuesday evening at his residence in Lalmati area of Guwahati. His demise has left family members, relatives, friends and well-wishers in deep grief.

Ahmed originally hailed from Kalacherra in Hailakandi district. He was the son of late Monir Ali, who served as an SDO in the PWD Department of Assam. He was also the brother-in-law of Munna (Amzad).

During his professional career, Muchleuddin Ahmed served in the Industries Department of Assam and later retired as Additional Director. Colleagues and acquaintances remembered him as a dedicated and sincere officer who contributed significantly during his tenure in government service.

After retirement, he was residing at Lalmati, Gandhibasti in Guwahati with his family. News of his passing spread across the locality and among relatives, prompting many to express condolences and pay tribute to the departed soul.

Several people who knew him personally described him as a humble and kind-hearted individual who maintained cordial relations with everyone around him.

Family sources informed that his last rites will be performed following religious customs. A large number of relatives, neighbours and well-wishers are expected to attend and offer their final respects.

Condolence messages have continued to pour in from different quarters, with many praying for eternal peace of the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family.
