SSA Assam to Continue TaRL Programme for Classes 3 to 5

Samagra Shiksha Assam has directed all districts to continue the ‘Teaching at the Right Level’ (TaRL) programme for students of Classes 3 to 5 in collaboration with Pratham Education Foundation.

The programme aims to improve basic reading and arithmetic skills through regular assessments and teacher training. Schools have been asked to complete baseline assessments by May 5, midline assessments by June 30, and endline assessments by February 25, 2027.

SSA also instructed schools to upload student performance data on Shiksha Setu and ensure regular monitoring of the programme across districts.
