Guwahati Court to Deliver Verdict on Siddharth Sharma’s Bail Plea Today

A special fast-track court in Guwahati is set to announce its verdict today on the bail plea of Siddharth Sharma, an accused in the high-profile death case involving music icon Zubeen Garg.

The prosecution opposed bail, citing the seriousness of the case and ongoing investigation, while the defence sought his release. Earlier, the court had rejected the bail plea of prime accused Shyamkanu Mahanta over concerns he might flee if released.

The verdict is expected to play an important role in the ongoing investigation and legal proceedings.
