Railway Board Reviews Northeast Railway Projects at Maligaon

Vivek Kumar Gupta visited Northeast Frontier Railway headquarters at Maligaon and reviewed ongoing railway infrastructure projects across the Northeast with senior officials.

Key projects discussed included the Jiribam–Imphal, Sivok–Rangpo and Murkongselek–Pasighat railway lines, with focus on speeding up execution and improving regional connectivity.

Gupta is also scheduled to inspect the Kamakhya–Dimapur route and review progress of the Dimapur–Kohima railway project. Officials said the initiatives aim to strengthen transportation and economic growth in the Northeast region.
