Concerns Rise Over Unhygienic Food Stalls Around Assam Medical College

Serious concerns have emerged over the growing number of roadside food stalls and temporary vendors operating in and around Assam Medical College and Hospital. Youth leader Ujjal Kashyap alleged that many vendors are selling food in unhygienic conditions near drains and garbage areas, posing health risks to patients and visitors.

He questioned the silence of hospital authorities, municipal officials and the food safety department, warning that illegal encroachments and lack of monitoring could worsen public health and sanitation issues in Dibrugarh.
