NFR Completes 10.61 Km Track Renewal in Moranhat–Dibrugarh Section

The Tinsukia Division of Northeast Frontier Railway successfully completed 10.61 km of Through Sleeper Renewal (TSR) work in the Moranhat–Dibrugarh section during May 2026.

The project was carried out using a Track Relaying Train (TRT) machine and 21 traffic blocks, including nine night blocks. Railway officials said the upgraded track infrastructure will enhance safety, operational reliability, and passenger comfort while improving overall train operations in the section.
