Five Lakhimpur Businessmen Killed in Arunachal Road Accident

East Kameng: Five businessmen from Lakhimpur district of Assam were killed after their SUV plunged into a deep gorge near Tatatara village along NH-13 in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Kameng district.

The victims, identified as Bulbul Ali, Noor Hussain, Abul Hussain, Amzad Ali and Saidul Islam, were residents of Bhorolua village under Nowboicha Revenue Circle. Four died on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.

The group was reportedly travelling to Seppa market when the vehicle lost control and fell into the gorge. Rain-soaked and slippery road conditions are suspected to have contributed to the accident, though the exact cause is under investigation.

Police, rescue teams and local residents recovered the bodies from the gorge. The tragedy has left Bhorolua village and nearby areas in deep mourning.
