ACMS Seeks High-Level Probe into Land Allotment Near Kaziranga

Golaghat: The Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS) has demanded a high-level inquiry into the alleged allotment of land at Inle Pathar and Hatikhuli near Kaziranga. The organisation claimed that local residents who have depended on and cultivated the land for generations were not consulted before the reported allotment.

ACMS leader Raju Sahu questioned the land reclassification process and called on the government to protect the rights of long-term occupants. He urged authorities to grant land pattas to affected Adivasi tea tribe families and other residents living on the land for decades.
