ASSEB Waives Police Report for Flood-Affected Students Seeking Duplicate Certificates

Guwahati: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has announced that flood-affected students in Upper Assam can obtain duplicate mark sheets and certificates free of cost by submitting a self-declaration, eliminating the requirement for a police report.

ASSEB Secretary Naranarayan Nath said applications can be submitted through the existing online portals, with no deadline fixed for the facility. The move follows the Assam government’s education support package, which also includes free textbooks, uniforms and financial assistance for students affected by the recent floods.
