26 Suspected Smuggled Cattle Seized in Dhubri

Dhubri Police on Monday conducted an early-morning operation in Bilasipara and seized 26 suspected smuggled cattle along with a Bolero vehicle.

Five people—Haidar Ali, Golbar Ali, Shah Alam, Shahar Ali and Nur Alam—were detained in connection with the alleged smuggling network. Police suspect the cattle were being transported towards the international border for possible smuggling into Bangladesh. Further investigation is underway.
