11 Assam Police Personnel Receive Meritorious Service Medal

Eleven Assam Police personnel have been awarded the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) on the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day for their dedicated and distinguished service.

The awardees include senior officers such as IG V. Siva Prasad Ganjala, AIG Sarmistha Barua, Commandant Santanu Kumar Dutta and SPs Amitav Basumatary, Subhasish Baruah and Suman Chakraborty. Two Assam Fire Service personnel and one Home Guard personnel were also honoured.
