Assam Government Suspends Engineer in Vigilance Case

The Assam government has suspended Dhiren Bharali, Assistant Executive Engineer of Bihdia Jajikona Development Block, after the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption registered a case against him.

The suspension was ordered with immediate effect as the vigilance investigation continues. Bharali has been directed not to leave his headquarters without prior permission.
