40 Smuggled Cattle Recovered in Jagiroad

Jagiroad Police recovered 40 allegedly smuggled cattle and seized three vehicles during a raid on Sunday based on a tip-off. The cattle were reportedly being transported from Amani in Nagaon district to Guwahati.

The smugglers managed to flee the scene, while police seized a truck and two smaller vehicles. Police are continuing their crackdown on cattle smuggling in the area.
