Tiger Reportedly Kills Cattle Near Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga: A tiger reportedly killed a head of cattle near Naharbasti along NH-715, close to the Kaziranga National Park area. The carcass was found near the office of the Burapahar Range Forest Officer, with reports suggesting the animal may have been killed inside the park before being dragged towards the highway.

The incident has raised concerns among local residents and motorists about wildlife movement near the busy highway and nearby settlements. Forest officials are expected to inspect the area and take necessary measures to monitor the tiger’s movement and ensure safety.
