Guwahati Doctor Found Dead Inside Nemcare Hospital

Guwahati: Dr Prayash Singhal, an ICU physician at Nemcare Hospital, was found dead inside the hospital premises on Wednesday. He had reportedly been on duty since Tuesday evening and was found unresponsive in the ICU of the hospital’s new building. He was later declared dead.

Police reached the hospital after receiving information and have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Dr Singhal, a resident of Sonapur, was reportedly facing mental distress in recent times, though authorities have not officially established the cause or circumstances of his death.
