Women Block Morigaon-Moirabari Road Over Poor Condition

Morigaon: More than 200 women from Barangabari village blocked the Morigaon-Moirabari road, demanding immediate repairs to the badly damaged stretch. The protesters said the road has become dangerous for commuters and needs urgent attention.

The women alleged that the Morigaon MLA had promised to repair the road before the Assembly election. However, they claimed that six months after the election, no visible action has been taken, prompting them to stage the road blockade.
