NH-27 Condition Raises Safety Concerns in Daboka

Daboka: The poor condition of National Highway-27 around Daboka has raised concerns among commuters and residents, with potholes, damaged stretches and inadequate roadside berms reportedly making travel risky. Locals have also raised concerns over vehicles parking near the Daboka toll gate and the lack of proper U-turn facilities along the Daboka-Mikirati Adarsha Gaon bypass.

Residents have urged the district administration, police, transport officials and National Highway authorities to inspect the affected areas and take corrective measures. They also alleged roadside encroachments and unplanned commercial activities near the highway, which they believe could further affect traffic movement and road safety.
