Assam Sets Durga Puja Deadline for Road Repairs Across Barak Valley

Silchar: The Assam government has directed authorities to complete urgent repairs of damaged roads across Barak Valley before Durga Puja, following instructions from Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

A review meeting chaired by Barak Valley Development Minister Krishnendu Paul assessed road projects in Cachar, Hailakandi and Sribhumi districts. Officials were asked to repair potholes and damaged stretches and ensure roads remain safe for commuters during the festive season.
