Nagaon Bypoll: Officials Review Security and Poll Preparedness

Nagaon: Authorities from Nagaon and Morigaon held a joint meeting to review preparations for the upcoming Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency by-election, focusing on polling arrangements, election materials, manpower and security at counting centres.

The meeting, chaired by Nagaon District Commissioner and Returning Officer Aranyak Saikia, was attended by Morigaon DC Srishti Singh, Nagaon SSP V V Rakesh Reddy and Morigaon SSP Nishant Saurabh. Officials also discussed maintaining law and order in sensitive areas and urged wider use of the cVIGIL app to report suspected violations of the Model Code of Conduct.
