CGPD Holds Mental Health Counselling Session for Women Police Personnel

Guwahati: The City Guwahati Police Department (CGPD) recently organised a mental health and well-being counselling session for women police personnel in the district. The interactive programme was attended by DCP Central, government officers and women police personnel, with discussions focusing on mental health awareness, open conversations and creating a supportive workplace environment.

The session featured Dr. Rupa Baruah and Dr. Devika Phukan from B. Borooah College, along with a consultant psychologist from Apollo Excelcare Hospital. The programme aimed to encourage greater awareness of mental well-being and provide a supportive platform for women personnel to discuss workplace and personal well-being concerns.
