NFR Announces Additional Special Trains for Festive Season

Guwahati: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced additional special train services and extended existing services ahead of the Puja, Diwali and Chhath festival season. The trains will connect major destinations including Secunderabad, Naharlagun, Santragachi, Howrah, Lumding, Kolkata and New Jalpaiguri, improving connectivity across the Northeast and eastern India.

The Secunderabad–Naharlagun Special will make five additional trips, Santragachi–Naharlagun Special nine, Howrah–Lumding Special seven and Kolkata–New Jalpaiguri Special 14 trips in each direction. NFR advised passengers to check updated timings and stoppages on the IRCTC website and its official platforms before travelling.
