Assamese Film ‘Aadishakti’ Teaser and Poster Unveiled

Guwahati: The teaser and official poster of the upcoming Assamese feature film Aadishakti were unveiled at Aideo Cinema Hall in Panjabari on Sunday. Produced by Ayra Studios and directed by Bitopan Kashyap, the woman-centric film stars debutante Dr Arshia Mahanta as Aditi and explores themes of women’s empowerment, social conventions, love and mystery. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on December 4, 2026.

Aadishakti has already received three honours at the Global Cine Confluence 2026 in New Delhi, including Best Feature Film, Best Original Story and Best Debutante Actress. The film also features the duet “Oni Boni” by Zubeen Garg and Zublee Baruah, along with actors Nirupam Saikia, Tapan Das, Manjula Barua and others.
