Assam Government Grants Special Casual Leave for Employees Attending Annual Meeting

Guwahati: The Assam government has granted special casual leave to government employees, excluding teachers, who will attend the 41st Annual General Meeting of the Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad as delegates. The leave will be applicable on October 12, 2026, according to an executive order issued by the General Administration Department.

The three-day annual meeting is being held from October 10 to 12, 2026, in Nalbari town. Eligible employees participating as delegates can avail the special casual leave on the final day of the meeting.
