AASU Urges Assam Government to Challenge Bail Orders in Zubeen Garg Case

Guwahati: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) has urged the Assam government to approach the Supreme Court against the bail granted to Amritprabha Mahanta and Sandipan Garg in the Zubeen Garg death case. AASU president Utpal Sarma said the government must take necessary legal steps to ensure justice for the late singer.

Meanwhile, Zubeen Garg’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, also questioned the government’s response to the bail orders and urged it to challenge the Gauhati High Court’s decision in the Supreme Court. She expressed concern over the progress of the case and called for stronger efforts to ensure accountability and justice.
