NFR Felicitates 35 Swachhata Doots for Promoting Cleanliness

Guwahati: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) felicitated 35 Swachhata Doots at its Maligaon headquarters on October 13 as part of Swachhata Pakhwada 2026, recognising their contributions to cleanliness and hygiene. Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer Uttam Prakash distributed cloth bags to promote reusable alternatives to plastic bags.

Senior NFR officials attended the programme, which also highlighted the importance of employee health and well-being. NFR is conducting various activities during Swachhata Pakhwada to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness and responsible waste management across railway premises.
