Dushyant Kumar Gautam Sworn In as Sikkim Governor

Gangtok: Dushyant Kumar Gautam was sworn in as the 19th Governor of Sikkim at Lok Bhavan on October 19, succeeding Om Prakash Mathur. Sikkim High Court Chief Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque administered the oath in the presence of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang and other dignitaries.

President Droupadi Murmu appointed Gautam to the post on October 12. Following the ceremony, he signed the oath of office and received a ceremonial Guard of Honour from the Sikkim Armed Police.
