A 3.4-magnitude earthquake strikes Tezpur, Assam

The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported that early on Wednesday morning, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4, medium in intensity, struck Tezpur, Assam.

The earthquake occurred east of Tezpur, Assam, at a depth of 20 km. It was 5.55 a.m. when the earthquake struck.

As per NCS, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.4, Occurred on 27-12-2023, 05:55:35 IST, Lat: 26.70 & Long: 93.22, Depth: 20 km, Location: 42km E of Tezpur, Assam.”
