A suspected thief in Guwahati escapes police custody and is apprehended

In Guwahati, a suspected thief escaped from police custody on Friday morning. When the suspect escapes from the police custody, he was still wearing handcuffs.

Sources claim that on Friday, the suspect was being taken by the police to a hospital in the Last Gate area so that he could be examined medically. The suspect took advantage of the situation and ran away from the police while still wearing his handcuffs while they were still travelling.

Locals reportedly caught the thief and handed him over to the police.
