Aaranyak Conducts Rhino Monitoring Training at Pobitora WLS

Aaranyak organized a two-day Rhino Monitoring Training Programme at Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary from February 6 to 8, enhancing conservation efforts. Supported by IUCN (CAG), the training equipped 60 forest staff with skills to track and identify rhinos using scientific methods. Led by Dr. Deba Kumar Dutta, the program combined theory and field exercises. A ‘Rhino Unique Identification Booklet’ was also finalized to improve monitoring accuracy.
