AASU Leads Statewide Tributes to Anti-CAA Martyrs in Assam

Tributes were paid across Assam on Friday to anti-CAA martyrs following a call by the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU). District, regional and student units of the union organized remembrance programmes to honour those who died during the movement.

In Guwahati, AASU and Hatigaon residents held a tribute ceremony at Hatigaon High School. AASU leaders reiterated that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain, demanded responsibility for affected families, and asserted that protests against the CAA would continue until the remaining districts of Assam are excluded.
