AASU-Led Bike Rally in Lakhimpur Protests Against Citizenship Amendment Act

The Lakhimpur district unit of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), in collaboration with 30 indigenous community organizations, launched a bike rally on Thursday as part of their opposition to the proposed implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the state. The AASU unit in Lakhimpur has characterized the controversial Act as an “Assamese community destructive Act.”
