ABSU Warns of Mass Movement Over Delay in Bodo Accord Implementation

The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has urged the government to fully implement the 2020 Bodo Peace Accord, warning of a mass democratic movement if delays continue. President Dipen Boro said only five clauses have been executed so far and demanded a tripartite dialogue with the Centre and state. ABSU also called for ST status for Bodos and Karbis outside Sixth Schedule areas, and a TET in the Bodo language. Additionally, the union demanded a CBI probe into Zubeen Garg’s death, criticising the SIT’s ongoing investigation as unsatisfactory.
