AGP Announces 26 Candidates for Assam Assembly Elections

The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has released a list of 26 candidates for the Assam Assembly elections, featuring a mix of experienced leaders and new faces. Key names include Atul Bora and Keshab Mahanta.

The party has fielded 13 candidates from minority communities and made selections based on winnability and regional balance. Veteran leader Ramendra Narayan Kalita has been dropped following delimitation.

The list aligns with AGP’s seat-sharing arrangement within the BJP-led NDA alliance.
