AGP Holds Bike Rally in Biswanath, Demands Seat for Upcoming Elections

With the Assam Assembly elections approaching, the Asom Gana Parishad held a bike rally in Biswanath on Thursday through its youth wing, Asom Yuva Parishad, showcasing its organisational strength.
The rally, attended by several party leaders including former minister and ex-MLA Prabin Hazarika, began from the AGP office and ended at Biswanath Ghat, drawing large public participation.
Youth wing president Jitu Baruah said the party aims to strengthen its base and attract young supporters. The youth wing also demanded that the Biswanath Assembly constituency be allotted to AGP in the upcoming polls.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that seat-sharing talks among NDA allies, including AGP and BJP, have been completed, but the final decision will be announced after approval from the BJP’s Central Parliamentary Board.
