AGP Likely to Get Majority Seats in Upcoming Polls: CM Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday that alliance talks between the BJP and AGP are in the final stage and the AGP is expected to contest most seats in the upcoming elections. He said formal seat-sharing discussions will start soon, adding that talks with Rabha Hasong and Gana Shakti will also be completed by January 15.

Sarma also highlighted the BJP’s plan to field more youth and women candidates and criticized Congress for lacking direction, claiming people trust the BJP’s development-driven approach.
