Ajmal Reorganizes AIUDF After Lok Sabha Defeat

AIUDF chief Moulana Badruddin Ajmal has begun reorganizing the party after last year’s Lok Sabha defeat to Congress’s Rakibul Hussain by a record margin. Infighting caused setbacks in party strongholds, leading Ajmal to expel two MLAs in Hailakandi.

At a rally in Borjurai, Ajmal expressed confidence in the party’s recovery, urging agitation over alleged Panchayat delimitation errors. He criticized Hussain for neglecting Dhubri during floods, claiming constituents sought his help instead.
