AKRSU Bandh Shuts Down Dhubri After Police Action on Rally

A 12-hour bandh by AKRSU paralysed parts of Dhubri after police lathi-charged its rally in Golakganj, injuring over 100. Schools, shops, and markets remained closed. Two police officers, including Golakganj OC, were suspended, and a high-level inquiry was ordered. AKRSU warned of intensified protests if stronger action isn’t taken.
