Ambubachi Mahayog at Kamakhya Temple Begins June 22
The sacred Ambubachi Mahayog will be held at Kamakhya Temple from June 22 to 26, marking the goddess’s annual menstrual cycle. Temple doors will remain closed for the first three days and reopen for darshan on the last day. Over 20 lakh devotees are expected, with sadhus and pilgrims already arriving. Authorities have boosted security, sanitation, and transport to manage the massive turnout.
