Another Fake Doctor Arrested in Cachar; Total Reaches 13

Cachar police arrested a fake doctor, Bipul Chandra Nath, in Silchar’s Ambicapatty area for posing as “Dr B.C. Nath.” He had only a matriculation qualification but used forged MBBS documents. With this arrest, the total number of fake doctors caught in Cachar rises to 13. SSP Numal Mahatta said strict checks on medical credentials will continue as part of Assam’s statewide drive against quackery.
