The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) launched its year-long “Sambhidhan Rakshak Abhijan” campaign at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati. The event, organized by the Scheduled Castes Division of the APCC, was attended by senior Congress leaders, including Bhupen Bora, Gaurav Gogoi, and K Raju.

He also condemned the BJP for prioritizing corporate interests over the environment and Assamese traditions. AICC General Secretary Manoj Chouhan condemned RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s controversial remarks about India’s independence.
The campaign aims to educate citizens on the Constitution, highlighting Congress’s role in supporting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. K Raju announced plans to strengthen grassroots support and uphold constitutional values, while Bora emphasized Congress’s commitment to protecting people’s rights and unity.
