Applications for new connections are opened by Guwahati Jal Board

For new connections for water supply in three new locations, the Guwahati Jal Board is accepting public applications. They made the announcement on their social media channels early on Saturday.

Over its X handle, the Guwahati Jal Board mentioned, “Citizens of the mentioned areas are requested to apply for a hassle-free delivery of clean and hygienic drinking water directly to your homes under the JICA-assisted Guwahati Water Supply Project.” Alongside, it mentioned the locations of G S Road, from Ulubari to Paltan Bazar, the left side of G S Road, from ASEB Road to Ulubari Chariali, and in the Rupnagar/Birubari locality. The post also mentioned that interested people can apply for the doorstep supply of drinking water by registering on the official website, gmdwsb.in, or via their Android application mentioning that the applications are now open.
